This is a parametric CAD file to allow you to generate inserts for the Logix craft boxes:

Likely, this will fit other manufacturers boxes as they probably all use the same/similar molds.

This insert has integrated handles at the ends to lift out.  The photo is an example of changes I've made to house various sewing machine supplies, but the parameterized model here allows you to customize the interior as you desire.

Parameters

The following parameters are the most likely ones you will want to change:

total_depth - defines how far down into the box you want this insert to go, as measured from the top of the open box

wall_thickness - defines the thickness of the sides/bottom.  I have made inserts using 1.6mm and they are plenty sturdy.

shell_inset - defines the amount of “wiggle” you want between the box and the insert.  I set this at 0.2mm and it seems to work for my printer.

After creating the primitive shell/box, you can create further divisions, holders, inserts to suit your needs.
