I love the remix by Quinton Graham, but It wouldnt fit for me. So I widen the arm slots so the lightbar would easily slide into place. Then I removed the coupler so it could be printed independently. This did 2 things. 1, allowed the lightbars to both be printed without supports and face down, for an ideal texture on the top of them and 2, allowed me to resize the coupler which if I remember correctly was not quite right fit. I adjusted the size and was able to fit the two lightbars sections together easily while looking better as well.
NOTE: I did have to cut some of the lightbars down to max the width the proper size for the ender 3, they were a little big for me. The lightbar sections in this remix reflect that, as I didn't want to reprint again. If you do not want to cut, please measure your ender 3 and scale the length of the bars to match that.
I will add pictures of my wiring later, but I used the DCDC5v add on board on my SKR mini e3 v3 to add the power necessary for 30 LEDS. I us a rear mount case, so I routed my wires up the V slots on the back, under the z stepper motor, and drilled a small hole in the aluminum at the top of the z axis to pass the wires through. This paired with some v slot covers made a near seamless install and I am extremely happy with the result. The lighting is 10x better now, especially for my klipper remote viewing and time lapses
