Ive always struggled with tuning my ironing flow. when i do a ironing test print, it looks perfect, but when i print out something else, my ironing looks rubish.
this design replicates almost all situations where ironing would expect to go bad/fail, including multiple islands to iron, circles, retracting and traveling over already ironed parts, thin sections of ironing, large sections/areas of ironing, as well as various angles to iron.
make sure that when in the slicer preview, that the ironing direction is moving in the long axis of the print, so that it can simulate ironing out larger prints.
Edit: now released a 150mm version i find to be more consistent, as well as better bring out situations where there would be under/overextrusion of ironing, and some patterns as well.

make sure you have these specific settings, otherwise your print wont properly simulate ironging, as there would be under/overextrusion on the top layers, thus not making the ironing accurate.
make sure that:
- bottom layers is set to 1
- layer height is set to 0.2mm
- infill is your usual for visual prints (around 10 -20%) top layers is what you usually have them to (up to 5 top layers)
these parameters are so that at least 1 infill layer is printed, and therefore any elephants foot, or any first layer which isnt perfect is counteracted for with the infill layers.
