As mentioned in the summary, this is a modular hook design that lets you to customize your own assembly.

This is achieved through two types of wall mounting options, in addition to spacers of different lengths either textured or smooth.

Name coding

First of all, I should mention that I went a bit overboard with the different configurations for each model. I don't think all of them are completly necesary but here we are. 

There are 48 .STL files that can be divided in two main categories: hooks and spacers. 

Likewise these two main categories can be divided each in two subcategories: glue or srew for the hooks and plain or pattern for the spacers.

This is the complete outline of the categories:

• Hook. Is a hook to attach things.
  • Glue. It has no holes, it needs to be glued or doble sided taped in place.
  • Screw. It has holes for screws.
• Spacer. Is meant to space the hooks from each other.
  • Plain. It has no pattern, is just blank.
  • Pattern. It has a pattern on the visible face when mounted.

Both, the hook and spacer models can be configured with:

• Tongue and groove type joint on each side:
  • M-F: As seen from the front, it has “MALE” joint on the left and “FEMALE” joint on the right.
• Joint only in one side:
  • X-F: As seen from the front, it has NO joint on the left and “FEMALE” joint on the right.
  • M-X: As seen from the front, it has “MALE” joint on the left and NO joint on the right.
• No joint in neither side:
  • X-X: As seen from the front, it has NO joint on the left and NO joint on the right.

The coding of the names takes all of the above into account and summarizes it. These are some name examples and what they mean:

000.Hook_Glue_X-X.STL → Hook, for gluing, without joints.

011.Hook_Screw_X-F.STL → Hook, for screwing, no joint on the left, female on the right.

020.Spacer_35mm_X-X.STL → Spacer, plain, lenght 35mm, without joints.

052.Spacer_Pattern_50mm_M-F.STL → Spacer, with pattern, lenght 50mm, male on the left, female on the right.

073.Spacer_Pattern_75mm_M-X.STL → Spacer, with pattern, lenght 75mm, male on the left, no joint on the right.

Finally, don't worry about the first three numbers, they are only there to organize everything and give each configuration a unique identification code.

General dimensions

In this chapter, we will lay out the most relevant dimensions.

As we have seen above, each model can be configured with a tongue and groove joint. These are the general dimensions of the joint:

Except for the presence of holes and male/female joints, all dimensions are always the same for all hook models.

In the following two images, we can see the typical dimensions of a spacer with and without the pattern design:

As in the case of hooks, except for the presence of male/female joints, all dimensions are always the same for all hook models, except for the length (as this is customizable).

Print settings

Everything printed in PLA and PETG, without rafts or supports, at 0.2 mm resolution and 15% infill.

All models are designed to be printed without supports as long as they are placed in the following recommended orientations:

In case very long spacers are being printed, I would recommend using a brim to ensure bed adhesion:

Assembly

As the design does not require supports, assembly is quite simple, just join each joint with its counterpart.
