On the opposite side, at the LAN socket, you also need to install another splitter.

A splitter is used to split or double a LAN connection with eight wires. However, this is at the expense of bandwidth. This means that only 100 MBit is possible. Sufficient for VoIP telephones, printers and other office accessories, but also for PCs, logically.

Auf der Gegenseite, an der LAN-Steckdose, muss man ebenfalls wieder einen Splitter installieren.

Ein Splitter dient dazu, einen LAN-Anschluss mit acht Adern zu teilen, bzw. zu verdoppelt. Allerdings auf Kosten der Bandbreite. Damit sind nur noch 100 MBit möglich. Ausreichend für VoIP-Telefone, Drucker und andere Office-Zubehör, aber auch für PCs, logisch.
