This is my take on an Audioengine A2+ Speaker stand.

Other designs just didn't fit what I wanted so I made my own. 

This design angles them at 15° for improved listening experience when placed on a desk.

I also added 1/8" (3mm) thick neoprene pad to the bottom. This keeps it from sliding on the desk and dampens vibrations that could worsen the sound from these speakers. You can also use rubber feet, but I really like the neoprene best plus it is useful for other future projects!
