Made to use the makerworld LED-001 usb powered led light kit, this is a simple but amusing LED lantern.

I printed it in spectrum3d copper and envirolaser3d transparent gold.  Both of which are non-US filaments, which I think is nice.

3x m3 heatset inserts and 3x m3x10mm screws are required for assembly.

The base is made in two pieces to screw together around the LED puck.  The shade friction fits into the socket on the base.  Any custom “shade” that meets the socket size of 73x73mm can be friction fit into the base.

The LED puck draws about 600mA, so older USB chargers won't be sufficient, though it runs happily on anything 700mA and up without warming up the charger.
