Normally, the light from this torch is concentrated and quite focused. With this diffuser, it will become scattered and more like light from a lantern. The new Mini MagLite is with an installed LED. These new types of flashlights have two light intensity modes. While you are turning on the torch and pointing to the ground at the same time, it will start at 50% light intensity, and batteries will last longer.
If you do not have a semitransparent filament, use white instead, which is enough good for this purpose. The design has quite thin walls. For the diffuser, I suggest printing it in PET-G, because of its higher temperature durability.
The foot may be used as the parking place for the diffuser, when not used.
This accessory may be quite useful in a case of emergency. The flashlight gives a very pleasant diffused light.
