This is an insert for the “Codex Naturalis” board game. I was disappointed by the complete lack of an insert considering how high-quality everything else is, and decided to make my own.

This model features two removable card holders and a half-cylinder tray for the pawns, as well as notches to place the board on top of everything. Every component is neatly packed and can't move around in the box once the board is set.

I found quite a large variance in the diameter of the circular pawns, up to 1.5mm of difference in diameter between two of them. This model assumes a maximum diameter of 18.2mm. Everything should hold perfectly fine thanks to the board regardless.

The card holders should fit without forcing in the insert base.

I printed this at 15% infill with 2 wall loops with a .4mm nozzle. Make sure to print two card holders and one insert.
