I used "iamburny's" customizable key ring as a basis to create a name tag to snap onto a lighting cable. I'm sharing my variation in a customizable form too with the original function in tact.

I tweaked the code a little while I was in there. The customizer headings match their functions a little better and I gave it some finer resolution for letter height. I also added a 9th character to fit the name I needed.
