While designing a 1:12 scale model of a machine, I wanted to see if I could make it functional. So here it is, a small scale generic NEMA frame motor casing, designed to hold a 10mm x 12mm x 26mm deep motor (Link to the one I bought here, no sponsorship or brand affiliation). 

I designed a channel for the wires to run through the main casing and come out at the electrical box on the side of the motor, and the end cap is a snug fit but removable for access to the motor. 

Disclaimer: this case was not tested for long term use, and is purely a cosmetic design. There is no airflow around the motor and I am not sure how it will heat up if used under load for extended periods of time. 

I intend to come back to this model in the future to improve upon it after using it for a longer period of time. Until then, please share your makes and suggestions for improvement with me!
