Description

Adjustable Stringing Test Model

This adjustable stringing test model is designed to help you fine-tune retraction settings for your 3D printer. It consists of a base and stackable levels, giving you the flexibility to test one or multiple retraction values in a single print.

  • Single Retraction Test: Print just the base if you only want to test one retraction setting.
  • Multiple Retraction Tests: Add more levels to test different retraction values simultaneously. Each level is separated by a distinct indentation, making it easy to identify where each level starts and ends.

Specifications:

  • Base Thickness: 0.5mm
  • Level Height: 6mm (including the indentation)
  • Height Markers:
    • Level 1 starts at 0.5mm
    • Level 2 starts at 6.5mm
    • Level 3 starts at 12.5mm
    • Add 6mm for each subsequent level.

For best results, print with 2 perimeters/walls and optional infill. The simple design ensures you can quickly compare stringing performance across different settings with minimal filament waste.
