Snap the pins into the centre block first, then put the gears on. The larger gears go on the larger faces of the centre block. If you have it, apply some silicon or white lithium grease to the pins.

If you have OpenSCAD, the SCAD file allows you to make the model with different (or no) radiusing, and you can add text to the big gear faces if you have the write module.
