The Design

I recently picked up Work Sharp's Precision Adjust knife sharpener. It's an incredibly popular first step into proper guided sharpeners. One of the device's few flaws is that the angle adjustment knob tends to move a bit while sharpening. This locking collar is a simple, elegant solution! The difference from similar designs I've seen is that this lock actually “clips” into the sharpener frame, so that it won't fall off or be lost easily.

Material

The pictured model was printed with White PETG from Overture. I found PLA to be a bit too brittle.

Printing

The pictured model was printed upside-down, for fast, no support printing. Note that the locking tab isn't as durable in this orientation, compared to printing laterally with supports.
