This thing is a Foscam Security Camera Mount Bracket that provides for mounting the camera against a ceiling at the correct orientation rather than against a wall/post. This enables the camera pan functionality to appear normally oriented to the horizon so you can pan with a single direction rather than sweeping two axes in an ellipse sweep.

The bracket uses the provided camera footprint, and can now be used as the drill tool for mounting the camera to a wall as well if needed.

The camera provided mount plate and wedge adapter fit into the screw holes provided here. I used four metric screws but any machine screw that fits into the recessed head holes on the camera will be fine. The mount to the ceiling could be wood screws, sheet metal screws, or machine screws with washer/nuts.

Pictured is build version #1 with my camera mounted, it had a spacer plate between the bracket and the ceiling. The STL uploaded has the space built-in so that is no longer needed.

Camera wifi antenna is close to the ceiling; As I mounted on a wood patio ceiling this is not an issue but you may find that performance suffers if mounted directly against a metal sheet and would need to add more spacers between.

Using provided camera mount footprint paper, measured hole size and spacings. Sketched the footprint, then extruded a large angled plate to add mounting holes to. Located and spaced mounting holes in basic square shape, then extruded additional thickness around holes for rigidity around screw heads crushing the part. Then added a fillet between bracket angle sections and a support angle like a bookshelf typically has.
