This is a remix of the original 3.5” HDD caddy designed for the PlayStation 2. It was was created to address specific needs for taller HDDs and enhanced usability. Like the original, this caddy supports both IDE and SATA (converted) network adapters and securely holds the HDD in place with a sliding mechanism.

Building on the original design, this version includes several improvements for modern use cases:
• Slimmer Bottom: Accommodates taller HDDs, such as the 8TB Seagate Ironwolf, without compromising fit or stability.
• Thinner Flaps with Larger Holes: Easier and more versatile attachment to the network adapter.
• Taller Border at the End: Prevents the HDD from sliding out, providing a secure hold even without screws.

I’ve got two models for you. One has screw holes, and the other has plastic pegs for screw-less HDD installation instead.

The screw-less installation holds the drive in place really well, especially when you put it in the HDD compartment of the console. Just snap the caddy on the drive and make sure the pegs are in the drive’s screw holes.
