After printing the 2 pieces, I opened up a Bic brand pen and took out the writing part and inserted it in the CanCanPen named part and put on the cap. It can be left like that but I still wanted to add the stripes of a real candy cane. I just used standard paint for that. I also added a clear coat over it to make it an even more convincible candy cane and to keep the paint from scratching off.
