I recently purchased a tp-link multigig switch for use in my home network. The switch itself was designed for desktop use, so I decided I would design a bracket to adapt it for rack mounting.
The bracket is split into to halves to be easily printable on a wide range of printers and also includes a slot intended for gluing a small rod (think trimmed toothpick) to tie the two halves together. There is also small ventilation slots incorporated into the design to avoid blocking the switch's side ventilation holes.
The bracket is printed in PLA, 3 perimeters, 3 top and 3 bottom layers and 20% infill. The brackets are designed to be mounted to the bottom of the switch using the existing keyhole mounting solution. The model was printed flat on the bed, so you will need decent bridging abilities, or otherwise add support.
The bracket requires 10 brass inserts (2 on the bottom and 4 on each side), however, you may not need to populate all the brass inserts on each side. I've got 3 screws on each side and it seems sufficient to hold it securely.
