Description
This is my 2nd design for a mount of the Bondtech LGX® Extruder with the LGX® Shortcut Copperhead Printhead (formerly known as LGX FF for Flexibles), with optional mounts for a BLTouch probe and an ADXL345 IMU.
Required components
- Bondtech LGX® Extruder.
- Bondtech LGX® Shortcut Copperhead Printhead.
- 5015 blower fan (recommended: Sunon MF50151VX-B00U-A99).
- 40x10 or 40x20 radial fan (recommended: Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX).
Required fasteners
- Bondtech LGX Mounting Accessories (if it didn’t come with your LGX).
- 1x M3x6mm screw (for 5015 fan).
- 2x M3x8mm screw (for cable holder).
- 10x M3x16mm screw (for bearing clamps and 4010 fan).
- 10x M3x16mm screw (for belt tensioners and belt clamps).
- 1x M3x20mm screw (for 5015 fan).
- 18x M3 square nuts.
Optional components
- Antclabs BLTouch (designed originally for 3.1).
- If mounting in front, requires:
- 2x M3x8mm screws.
- 2x M3 hex nuts.
- If mounting in back, requires:
- 2x M3x10mm screws.
- 2x M3 square nuts.
- If mounting in front, requires:
- Adafruit ADXL345. Requires:
- 2x M2.5 hex nuts.
- 2x M2.5x8mm screws.
