Open EDS - Ring pull tin can opener

This assistive tool is the 4th of the OpenEDS series. It can be very useful for arthritis and hypermobile people.

Description

This small hook help to open a ring-tab can with the hook. It require less force and it's really easier when you have arthritis or hyper-mobility (avoid many dislocation or injuries)

- Hold the can with one hand
- With the other hand, slide the hook under the ring to the lug
- Pull the hook
- VOILA, your can is open!

Printing & edition

My tests are on PLA. The print need strength so here's the settings I use :
- 3 or 4 walls
- 30% infill

Also, if you want to modify the OpenSCAD file, don't forget to install the BOSL2 library.
