Wanted a bird house easy to install which could have an organic feel. Made the base removable if ever we need to clean it. I had some fun playing with the spline to build various form and could not establish which one is the most interesting so I have uploaded a couple.

That is build to not require any support. The hole is 30 mm to attract mostly small birds. The hole in the top is build to slide a cord into it.

Technically the bases is the same for all design but just for simplicity I have uploaded one per.

2022-05-10 modified the design for the main one to incorporate feedbacks.

• Added a slot in the bottom to add fixing the base to the top
• Reduce friction by increasing the gap for the filet between the top and the base to 0.2 mm instead of 0.1 mm
• Add bigger flat in the top hole to make it more robust and better seat washer if someone it that for fixing the rope
• Added the small top over the hold to prevent rain from getting in the bird house.

2022-05-14

• Reduce the size of the base to simplify assembling pieces.
• Also added a version B with a different form and single piece since adding the cord is not that hard so the removal base is not that useful
  • In that new design I added vent holes after reading more on bird house.
  • Also make it less wide to save on print time and material. 

2023-07-29

• Created a new base with a bigger space to make it less fit one removing 1.1 mm and one 1.8 mm.
• Exported in 3MF instead of OBJ
• Exported both the version with and without the small wimsy roof

2024-02-23

• Exporting again the base since there might be an issue with the version. Each are to accomodate issue with printer tolerance. I used the -0.8 mm for my version.
• The -0.4 should be the best fit but require the printer and materiel to not shrink to fit.
• The -1.1 are -1.8 are removing 1.8 mm which are not recommended and you might end up gluing the piece. But if you print are shrinking a lot that could help
