The Grumman X-29 was an American experimental aircraft that tested a forward-swept wing, canard control surfaces, and other novel aircraft technologies. The X-29 was developed by Grumman, and the two built were flown by NASA and the United States Air Force.

This printable model I created is just a very rough model, specifically designed for easy 3d-printing. It has to be glued together (please see post-printing section).

Scale: 1:200

The STL files are scale 1:375, to get scale 1:200 you have to scale it up to 190%! If you're printing the model on a FDM printer I recommend to sclae it up to 190%, if you have a resin printer 100% might work.

Notes: 
The afterburners and the stand were printed with black Anycubic PLA with a resulution of 0.1 mm.
The main hull/fuselage, wings and canards were printed with white PETG with a resulution of 0.05 mm.

Post-Printing

Glue Everything Together:
Usually you can glue all the parts immediately together, without a lot of reworking. I recommed using superglue or instant glue.

I recommend to glue the engine nozzle in place first.
Now you can glue the "underbelly" to the main hull and use the engine nozzle as a stop to align the parts.
The canards have to be glued slightly behind the air intake of the engine.
And the stand has to be glued in the center of gravity. To find the center of gravity, simply balance the fully assembled plane on the tip of your finger.
