Descripción
A good friend of mine recently designed a replacement stick for the old Atari 2600 game console controller. [https://www.printables.com/model/1033596-atari-2600-joystick-insert-upgrade](https://www.printables.com/model/1033596-atari-2600-joystick-insert-upgrade)
I made a green TPU cover for the new stick, but against the red button, it looked like a Christmas decoration, so I decided to model one I could print in PETG. My green PETG is several shades lighter than my green TPU, so after I wasn't happy with the first design, I split it into two parts, an outer shell to be printed in TPU to match my stick boot, and a PETG insert that actually presses the contact.
I've included both the one piece and two piece versions of this model, so use whichever design compliments your controller best.
All three files are intended to be printed as they're oriented in the STL's. The single piece button should use supports to build plate only, which will add a ring for supporting the lip of the button that is easily removed. Part A, the TPU shell for the two part button should also be printed with supports to build plate only, but is turned with the lip down so supports will be a round center that twists out easily. Part B, the PETG insert for the two part button should be printed as oriented in the STL and does not require any supports.
