This is a quick and dirty mount to securely point a 12mm laser pointer at exactly 45' to a small mirror that will be glued onto the 45' surface.  Holes are included to secure the laser with zipties, leaving the back of the mount flat in order to glue/mount the whole thing onto another surface.  

I plan to use this at Halloween with a line laser to make a liquid surface effect using fog inside a cauldron. The rim of the cauldron was not deep enough for the entire laser to be hidden, so this will allow me to turn the laser 90'  (vertical) and hide it under the cauldron rim.
