this is a remix of a basic R2D2 model from Thingverse. It is scaled to 150%from the original and remixed primarily to work with Bambu slicer as a 3MF file.  200mm/8" tall assembled, some features are remixed to be moveable/poseable as the original was glued to a fixed position.  I modified the center leg to retract into the body, or extends to “walk” with a detent system to help keep it in place.  Feet pivot with the side legs clicking into a fixed position to stand with the center foot stowed.  The head and side legs rotate on pivots, and snap in place.  The feet rotate and attach with included pins.  Some body panels were changed to separate peices to make AMS printing far more efficient with less waste than the original (body originally had over 1K filament changes in the smaller scale).  

The center vent covers the pin/spring for the leg extension detent.  The snap on top of the body and shoulders to side legs are the only peices that require glue, everything elsse shouls press or snap into place.  The pins are split to lay flat for better printing, and can just be pushed into the mounting holes together.  Some peices are fit very precisely and some variables may require minor sanding or cleaning up holes to move freely.  It has been painted for the AMS with blue, white, black and silver silk filaments in a “mostly” correct original trilogy scheme.  I have the file with the settings on my final print that came out as intended, and a good quality/speed/cost, but of course many will find room to adjust to their own liking.  Pics of the original to the left and my remix to the right
