Overview:

I just started making Hueforge art recently and needed some custom frame sizes.  I saw that IllNomade ([https://makerworld.com/en/models/604075?from=search#profileId-526695](https://makerworld.com/en/models/604075?from=search#profileId-526695)) was creating new build plates every time a member wanted a new frame size.  A while back I used OpenScad to remix a parametric frame file so I figured I could update the parametric frame file with the simple design from IllNomade that allows a snug fit of the Hueforge print into the frame and includes “teeth” to hang up the frame.

I hope you enjoy the ability to customize your frame size!  I'm going to add some features when I have time  such as different frame shape choices, interlocking frames (for Andy Warhol style prints), and tabletop frames with stand choices.

In the images for the build I included a custom 200x133 frame I printed for a NeonClownfish.  If you like the NeonClownfish hueforge I will be posting that on Makerworld next!

Directions:

1. Select the “CUSTOMIZE” button next to where you would download the file.  This will open the Customizable Model Maker, where you will be able to generate a custom frame size.
2. Select rendering colors for preview only
3. Enter actual hueforge picture width and height, the frame dimensions will be calculated based on hueforge print dimensions
4. In addition, you can modify frame thickness, frame border widths and frame skin widths.  The frame size will recalculate based on these options
5. Once you are happy with your frame, select the “DOWNLOAD” button at the bottom of the screen to download your .STL for printing!!
