Spoolfinity, like Gridfinity, accept for empty Bambu Labs spools. Be sure to check out Zack, the creator of Gridfinity. Definitely a don't miss YouTuber.

The Bambu Labs reusable spools are very nice quality but after lots of printing I've ended up with more than I need. I didn't like the idea of throwing them away. I even less liked the idea of storing an ever growing unused pile of them. This project is designed to give them a new life. It also seriously reduces the amount of shelf space I devote to my printer spare parts. The Spoolfinity base fits inside of the Bambu Labs spool. It takes advantage of the spool's twist lock action to create a secure lid. The project includes optional dividers to create custom compartments within the base.

This project includes two profiles:

1. Full base; suitable for the larger Bambu printers.
2. Half base; for the A1 Mini. Print the half base twice plus one of the center cap. Once assembled this has the same dimensions as the full base so accessory parts fit profile.

Speaking of accessories, I've published a template project which includes everything you need to create your own accessories. It includes a simple storage bin design and the corresponding Fusion 360 project file from which you can develop other designs. Some ideas for new accessories:

• Custom trays for printer parts like hotends.
• Fastener organization (could fit a bunch of these).
• Small tool organizers.
