You can now create custom knife blocks and handle holders directly on MakerWorld by clicking the “Customize” button. 

These modular Gridfinity knife holders are a flexible way to keep your knives organized. With 36 combinations of knife holder for all manner of blade heights and lengths, two handle rest styles, and spacer bits for custom layouts, they’re easy to adapt to your needs. Designed to fit into your Gridfinity system, they protect both blades and handles while keeping everything accessible. The default print profile includes a 'Hilbert' top layer for texture, but you can adjust this in your slicer. 

The examples in the pictures are  printed with Elegoo Matte Black PLA.

The new set with 36 different sizes contains:

• All blocks with 3 regular sized slots from 2x1 (width x length) to 2x6 in length, and from 3u to 8u tall.
• Naming of the plates is width x length x height.

• Versions with a wider slot and with 2-6 slots will be released in the near future. If you need something in particular, comment and we'll prioritize it.

   

The “Legacy Set” contains:

• Large Knife Block: 2x6 grid, 8u tall. Ideal for long knives with a 5cm/2inch deep blade 
• Medium Knife Block: 2x4 grid, 7u tall. For knives with approximately 4cm/1.5in blade
• Small Knife Block: 2x3 grid, 5u tall. For knives with a 2.5cm/1in blade
• Mini Knife Block: 2x2 grid, 5u tall. For knives with a 2.5cm/1in blade

Important:

Before you spend a lot of time and filament printing any part of the modular knife holder, please first only print the ‘Tester’ print profile to ensure compatibility with your knives. The slots in all sizes are the same (with part removed from the top on the smaller sizes), so in the tester, your knives should slide down all the way.
