Android Bugdroid Phone Stand

This Bugdroid Phone Stand has a few options for putting it together so pay attention to which version you're downloading. You can use either heat inserts or nuts for the threaded parts, as well as assemble the body in alternative ways based on your preferences. Personally I like the snap together version but I add a small amount of CA glue to give it a tighter hold. I've printed this is PLA and PETG at 0.4 without issue.

Heat inserts vs Nuts

If you prefer to use nuts, insert the nut into the slot and push it down until it hits the bottom then use the bolt to pull the nut into place. There is a hex shaped groove to catch the nut on.

Body

The body can be printed as a single piece, snapped together, or glued together. There is also the option for either heat set inserts or nuts to hold the parts together.

Phone Holder

There are 2 options for the holder at the moment a basic stand or a phone based on the Zenfone 9.

Thumb Screws

The thumb screws consist of an M4 bolt, a printed gear, and a M4 nut. Alternatively you can use M4 thumb screws as long as they are long enough to meet the minimum length.
