Don't you just hate it when the little fabric loop of your towel wears out and breaks, or when towels simply have no loops whatsoever? Do you hate having to fiddle with towels on small posts and hangers, having them slip off constantly? So do I!
That is why I designed this simple model, which slides onto the side of any towel and adds a sturdy hook to hang your towels wherever you want. I designed the model to fit snugly around towels, using backwards-pointing teeth to ensure the clip slides onto towels easily but doesn't let go once its on. After some tuning with the size, number and spacing of the teeth, I was really surprised by how well they grip. Especially the thicker ends towels tend to have add lots of grip between the teeth. Once one of these clips is on, it isn't coming off on its own!
There are two different sizes for the hooks, to suit your particular needs. I also included a version that has the hook to the side, should that be preferred. For thicker towels, you can scale the standard model up as required.
To get the hooks off, simply flexing one of the jaws up while pulling on the towel usually does the trick. I've found that pushing the tip of your thumb inbetween the slanted ends of the jaws works is particularly effective to get the towel out.
