I was printing off someone else's decoration that goes on the edge of a light switch plate and thought it would be fun to take my Butterfly Light Switch Cover and make it as one that goes around an existing light switch cover! So I took the same design that was first created on Craiyon and then used Hueforge to make the printable file, then I worked in the Bambu slicer to cut out the light switch part. This is designed specifically to work with a Standard Sized Light Switch Cover which is about 2.75-inches wide, 4.5-inches tall.

The total size of the butterfly piece is 4.84" wide by about 5.43" tall. 
The wings stick up about 2" from the top of the plate and goes out on each side about 1". Make sure you have enough clearance around your plate.

There are 2 VERSIONS! One is a regular one and one has a tab. The tab helps it stay in place on the light switch plate so if you have a regular plate, it could slip right off if you don't use the tab one. The purple is shown on top of one of my printed light switch covers.

To use the tabbed version, which most normal plates will need because of the curved design of the cover, you just need to loosen the screws on the plate, pry the top away from the wall a little, slide the butterfly cover so that the tab goes behind the plate, then just tighten the screws back up!

Color changes Most Colors options such as blue tone and purple tones:

• Layers 1 - 23 : Matterhackers White or whatever base color you want
• Layers 24 - 27 : FLASHFORGE Black
• Layers 28 - 31 : Inland Egyptian Blue - darker shade
• Layers 32 - 38 : Inland Light Blue - lighter shade
• Layers 39 - top : Matterhackers White

Color changes for Orange/Yellow version:

• Layers 1 - 23 : Matterhackers White or whatever base color you want
• Layers 24 - 27 : FLASHFORGE Black
• Layer 28 : Matterhackers White (this is to help the orange so it doesn't come out so dark on the black)
• Layers 29 - 31 : Creality PLA Filament Pro Orange(Pumpkin)
• Layers 32 - 38 : Polymaker PolyTerra Savannah Yellow
• Layers 39 - Top: Matterhackers White

Works well with my 3D printed light switch plate/cover. You don't even need the tab for it to get it to sit on these ones but it will help it stay on.
