About:
This is a project I've been working on for the past month or so. I wanted a futuristic yet minimalistic look to my wall so I modelled these squished hexagons with slots in blender. I found that I can use the slots to add attachments such as shelves and hooks.
Attachments:
I haven't made a lot of attachments, For nope there is a 2 slot shelf and a two hook attachment (not recommended). I do have plans to model and prototype a 3 slot shelf but I'm not sure what to try to add next. for the attachments, there is no gluing necessary.

The 2 Slot Shelf:
The 2 slot shelf is a snug fit and is roughly 31m x 9.3m. I haven't tested strength yet, but they do for figures / collectables. there are 2 holes on the shelf for hanging stuff and for aesthetics. The shelf takes nearly 6 hours to print, however i am going to test variable layer height.
How to put it on wall:
I personally used some Gorilla mounting tape 16kg to stick it to the wall. Its pretty strong stuff and almost permanent stuff. I recommend lining up the first row before using this adhesion method, otherwise you'll have to cover up a hole in your wall. if you have a better idea on how to put these up, let me know by commenting
DISCLAMER! - I ADVISE ASKING A PARENT/HOME-OWNER IF YOU CAN PERMINANTLY STICK THE PANELS TO YOUR WALL. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR HEADACHES WHICH MAY ACCUR.
Recommendations:
For the hex panels themselves, I recommend a layer height lower than 0.2 and more than 10% infill, I've noticed the two ramped sides warp a bit when printing.
