The 3MF files include modifiers to ensure rigidity when printing without top and bottom layers, while still allowing space for filament info stickers. The design is compatible with DasFilament, Fiberlogy, 3DJake, and other refills conforming to the Masterspool standard.

Does not work with Sunlu and eSun refills.

For optimal durability, I recommend printing this spool in PETG instead of PLA, particularly if you plan to use a filament dryer. If the spool is only for holding PLA, this recommendation can be disregarded.

Changes to the original model include:

• No logo (I assume they wouldn’t want their logo on a model they didn’t create).
• No scale (I didn’t calculate the length, and the original uses weight, which varies by material).
• Three larger nubs instead of one to ensure the cutouts on both sides align properly.
• The unwinding direction arrows are now on the shaft, making them less visible when printing without top and bottom layers or when using an almost empty roll.
• Minor tweaks, such as adding fillets and other small refinements.
