This is my first contribution to Makerworld :) . I've searched for stuff about MS-DOS but didn't find anything, so I decided to create an MS-DOS logo keychain from scratch. I tried to recreate the iconic MS-DOS logo by using the Helvetica font which was used in the original MS-DOS packaging, some web tools to convert text to STL files and edited everything in Tinkercad. This is the outcome.
Since you need five colours to print everything, I separated the base and letters into two plates. After printing, push the individual pieces into the base and it should be a press fit (you might need a lot of force but it fits perfectly), but to ensure that nothing gets loose after a while, just use a bit of superglue. Also, I didn't have purple filament at hand for the middle “O” so I substituted it with blue. To get the authentic look you should use purple.
I've uploaded two print profiles. One which prints every letter and the base seperately, which prints by object and greatly reduces printer-poop (takes only ~45 minutes). The other one prints by layer, creates a LOT of printer-poop and takes about 2 hours to finish. The final print with both profiles is almost indistinguishable, although I prefer the separated one myself because you get a clear separation of pieces.
