I decided it was time to move on from the SilverStone CS280 case—what better replacement than a custom-designed one?

💻 Features:

• Mini-ITX Motherboard Compatibility
• SFX Power Supply Support
• Expandable PCI Options:
  • Single low-profile PCI
  • Dual low-profile PCI with x16 180° riser cable (15cm) & PCIe bifurcation (x16 to x8x8) with 20mm spaced slots
• 8 x 2.5” HDD/SSD Bay:
  • IBM Backplane (46W9187 / 94Y7751) with caddies (44T2216) and LSI 9207-8i Controller HBA Card - IT mode

  • Note: Backplane power connector pin-out (I connected it to the PSU SATA connector since it has all voltages needed, each PSU has different pin-outs, you are responsible for finding out what pin-out your PSU SATA connector has)

🛠 Planned Additions:

• Custom-designed side panels
• Side panel with a 7” screen integration
• Modular fan tray for enhanced cooling
• Additional 2.5” HDD/SSD bays:
  • Dell Backplane (22FYP / J2C2D) and caddy (8FKXC / 08FKXC)
  • Non-backplane option with Dell caddy
