06/07/2025 Update - Added ¼" holes to “PolyDryer Holder”.  Allows for those who want to secure it to a table with hardware.  You can find the .Step file in files, and both print profiles have been updated to include the new version of the “PolyDryer Holder” with holes.

01/25/2025 Update - Added new Motor Holder v2 (It is 10mm shorter to accommodate for those with shorter AMS motor wires).  

• I've tested this newer Motor Holder v2 and it officially replaces the older Motor Holder v1.  If your wires were long enough to plug into the main board with v1, then no need to print v2. 
• All print profiles have been updated with the newer Motor Holder v2. 
• Motor Holder v1 has been fully removed from all print profiles and downloadable 3d files.

01/09/2025 Update

• Added a New Roller Version of the optional Spool Holder.  It uses the Rollers and Bearings from an existing PolyDryer Box.  Because this system does not need those rollers and bearings you can freely take them from a PolyDryer Box being used for this system.

   

• There are two separate Print Profiles for printing the optional Spool Holders.  A 0.4 Nozzle profile and 0.6 Nozzle profile.  You can print either version from either of the print profiles.

01/04/2025 Update 

• Updated the “RFID Retainer” to have an improved snap fit.  Only re-printing the “RFID Retainer” is required.  All files and print profiles have been updated.
• Added an Optional "Spool Holder" and "Spacer".  It will hold spools of filament not in a PolyDryer Box.  The "Spacer" will position BambuLab filament spools perfectly to be read by the RFID reader.  Use without the "Spacer" for non-BambuLab spool sizes that differ. Makes it easy to load filament that you are not concern with keeping dry in a PolyDryer Box.

AMS Lite + PolyDryer System

Here is a full integration of Polymakers PolyDryer System with BambuLabs AMS-Lite System.

It maintains full functionality of the BambuLabs AMS-Lite while keeping your filament dry using Polymakers awesome PolyDryer system.

RFID works! Please *Note, Because the round RFID sensor cannot be exactly centered with the PolyDryer boxes, there is some blind spots in the top 180 degrees of the PolyDryer box. But the lower 180 degrees will always result in a successful detection of the RFID tag. When loading, if the AMS does not detect the RFID tag because the tag is in the top 180-degree area, simply manually feed the filament in more or less so the spool rotates the RFID tag to the lower 180-degree area. Then tell the AMS system to try detecting the RFID tag again through Bambu Studio or the Bambu Handy App.

  • This mod helps position the Spools as close to the RFID sensor as possible while adding the retraction benefit as well.
