DECOSMO Racers is kicking off with the Noobster, the first in a series of tiny RC cars you can 3D-print for free.

This project is all about making it fun and accessible for anyone to create their own micro RC car.

Regular updates and new models are on the way, and the community is at the heart of it all.

Got ideas for upgrades or accessories? Go for it! Make a remix, create your own versions, and share them—your creativity is what makes this project even cooler.

The Noobster is a 1:43 scale RWD entry-level RC car designed for smooth surfaces and flat tracks. Its ultra-low profile makes it perfect for precision driving.

The adjustable motor placement and removable body mounts make it easy to adapt to different body shells and wheelbases.

With front suspension, the Noobster handles small bumps with ease, offering better control and agility. Bearings on both the rear axle and front wheels ensure smooth performance for an enjoyable driving experience.

The build is organized into three plates:
• Two plates for the Noobster’s main parts.
• One plate for the K20 CO motor block and components.

Wheels and tires

When it comes to wheels and tires, you’ve got several possibilities to choose from:

You can start with the base wheels 12x5.6, available here:

• Front wheel - 12x5.6 (WH-UN-FW_SQ26_1256-V1)
• Rear wheel - 12x5.6 (WH-UN-RW_1256-V1)

Pair these wheels with one of these tire options:

• Tire - 12x16x5.2 (TI-UN-121652-V1): TPU tires designed for a 0.4mm nozzle. Smooth enough for concrete or for drifting on parquet or tiles.
• Turbogrip Tire - 12x16x5.2 (TI-UN-TG_121652-V1): High-grip tires that work almost anywhere. These require 1mm o-rings (with a 13–14mm diameter).

Alternatively, if you already have slot car wheels, you can adapt those!
