👋 Hi everyone!
I’m a father of two kids. Quite often, when we visit a restaurant, I face the same problem: my child struggles to eat sushi because using chopsticks is too difficult, and unfortunately, restaurants don’t always provide any special tools to connect chopsticks and make them easier to use. 😕
✨ That’s how the idea of creating this gadget was born!
This device can be quickly and easily 3D-printed, and as a bonus, it features a fun design that kids will love. 🐼🎨
🛠️ Key things to know about the gadget:
1. It works perfectly and really helps children handle chopsticks! 🥢✅
2. However, it’s not a universal tool — it’s specifically designed for a particular type of chopsticks (you can see them in the photos).
3. I focused on functionality and design to make it as user-friendly and fun for kids as possible.
📸 In the photos, you can see the exact chopsticks I used, which are commonly found in restaurants in my area. Most likely, they’ll work just as well in your local restaurant.
👨🔬 The journey to the final version wasn’t easy:
I put in a lot of effort to achieve this result! There were about 10 different prototypes before I finally perfected it. Each step brought improvements in design and functionality.
