This is a 20cm diameter ring light that I designed to add a bit of light to a dark corner of my office and wanted something that I could wall mount to keep my desk free of extra clutter. It is designed with a hole to the rear to allow it to be hung on a picture nail or hook - I made a mistake in my setup as I forgot that I needed to mount it to an existing screw (I bodged a fix using a twist tie as a temporary solution).

I curved the inside face of the light to diffuse the output of the led strip towards the front to a greater extent. I use a generic 5v USB Cob LED strip with an in-line power control button. To fit the light, I used some 3M double sided tape to hold the strip to the inside of the face/outer wall part and had to de-solder/resolder the USB cable to the LED strip. I joined the two parts together with a bead of CA glue around the alignment lip on the rear/inside part of the print, I am planning to make an update to the design to add some alignment pins to ensure that the cable and mounting hole line up correctly.
