Description
Yeah you read the title right, this design is all about stacking your lack into a well priced archive closet. This insperation came from the famous lack enclosure, but when I looked at the print files I realized… This is wildly complex while it shouldnt have to be.
I just want a simple stack of lacks or stacks of lacks, whatever rhymes better! I'm also adding some convenient designs for the addition of hardwood plates so you can YES TRANSFORM IT into a (partial) enclosure for all your printing needs.
It won't fit the MMU(⅔) because I love my printer but don't want to keep on troubleshooting it. I'm sure the MMU3 solved all issues because i don't see these posts on reddit nearly as often anymore, but for my case, I want a brick and a printer, nothing more, nothing less.
Update history:
V1
- Simpler design (how was that even possible, yeah idk what I was thinking)
- Added a discription
1.1
- Added corners to hold 3.6mm panels, 4 cornerguides should cover an entire leg
1.2
- Added enclosure part and updated basic corners
- ENCLOSURE IS NOT TESTED YET
1.3
-Changed future enclosure parts, there is no door available still working on the hinge design.
- Enclosure now uses 0.9mm slots for plywood, good for keeping in heat, you only need to see through the front anyway
Future plans:
- Add fan mounts for fume extraction
- Test enlosure, no money for filament just yet so I'm not sure if my calculations are correct
