Features

Additional hardware required

• 2x standard 20 mm size aluminium extruded profile per holder (length varies, see below)
  • You can usually get them with M6 threaded ends already
• 4x M6 screw (min 10 mm long) per holder
  • Alternatively, you can glue the profiles in the end caps with 2-part epoxy or similar
  • I do not recommend glueing if you plan to stack the holders
• 4x M6 washer (optional)
• 16x M4 screw (min 14 mm long) per holder for stacking one holder on top of another
• 16x M4 nut per holder for stacking
• 32x M4 washer per holder for stacking (optional, try to use them on the nut sides at least)

The end caps are designed to work with standard 20 mm aluminium profiles. The length depends on how many spools you want to store. The caps take 10 mm from each end so account for that.

You can use the following formula to calculate the length in [mm]:

(spool_width_in_mm) x (number_of_spools) + 30

30 comes from 2x 10 mm for cap ends and 10 mm for a bit of extra spacing

To store 6x BambuLab reusable spool you should get profiles at least 420 mm long.

Assembly

Assembly is very simple. See pictures of what the assembled and stacked holders look like.

Holder assembly

Place the caps on the aluminium profile and screw them on with M6 screws. If you have washers, it is recommended you use them.

If you plan to glue the end caps, apply glue on the end caps internal corners and profile end faces, then join them together. Wait for the glue to fully cure.

Stacking

Place the stacking arms on the external sides of the holders. Use 4x M4 screws and nuts to secure the arm to the end caps. If you have them, use washers, at least on the nut end.
