3d Printed Case for laptop/cyberdeck build based on Raspberry Pi 5 and 10.1 inch touchscreen display. STLs do not include the hazmat warning so feel free to add your own personalization/artwork to top case/strap. Pictured version printed with Sunlu PLA+ and Giantarm PLA Silk (Yellow-Green dual color) on a Bambu 3d effects plate.

Included whole versions of the top/bottom/screen cases but they will not fit 256mm print beds so also included the split versions.

Hardware:

M2*4: 8 (attach bottom case to bottom center strap), 14 (attach top case to top center strap), 4 (attach USB-C cover)

M2*6: 6 (attach screen case to top case)

M2.5*6: 4 (attach screen case to display)

M3*30: 4 (top and bottom latches), 2 (hinges)

M4*18: 2 (case handle)

M4*18: 0-8 (optional - attach bottom case to center, left and right straps and top case to left and right straps)

Assembly:

Glue left and right halves of top case together applying small drops of gorilla glue gel along seam. Clasp together until glue sets (binder clips work great). Make sure halves are aligned and edges flush.

Apply small drops of gorilla glue gel along top center strap between screw holes and along raised sides. Working quickly, press top center strap to top case and align screw holes. Add a few (M2*4) screws before glue has time to set, then clasp until glue sets.

Apply small drops of gorilla glue to left and right top straps, pressing to top case and aligning screw holes in rear of case before glue sets. Clasp together and add one M4*18 screw (or shorter if preferred). The M4 screws are optional but will add strength. The glue alone will hold the strap in place without the screws but may fail over time.

Repeat above steps with the bottom case and straps.

Secure display to screen case using M2.5*6 screws. Attach components/batteries/etc then set screen case into top case and secure with six M2*6 screws.

USB dock does not require any screws, USB-C extender can be secured in the slot in the top case by attaching USB-C cover with 2-4 M2*4 screws. Momentary switch will screw into hole without any hardware needed. Secure other cables/peripherals/battery packs as you see fit.

Connect top and bottom cases, aligning hinges, and secure hinges with two M3*30 screws with screw heads facing to the outside.

Attach latches to top case with two M3*30 screws with screw heads facing to the outside. Attach two M3*30 screws to bottom case for latches to clasp onto.

Attach case handle to top case using two M4*18 screws with screw heads facing to inside.
