This is a remix of the Panda Touch support created by Patrick for the maCyo42 AMS V2 riser. If you don't have the maCyo42 V2 AMS riser go to the original file and print this one which works without it.  I wanted to have threaded inserts for attaching the Panda Touch. This design allows the use of threaded inserts available on Amazon. I also changed support settings for easier removal. I highly recommend getting M3x8 flat screws to allow better thread engagement for the brass inserts. The top original screws that came with the Panda Touch only allow 1mm of thread engagement so I replaced mine with M3x8 screws listed in the parts below.  The model without threaded inserts will need M3x10 screws to allow good thread engagement.  You can find them in the parts list at the bottom of the page or source them locally. 

My model was printed in green and black ABS using a 1mm color change.  I tried less than 1mm but got bleed through from the other color. Both models are set up as 2 tone but you can remove this by going to the paint settings and erase all painting. All models can be printed in whatever material you desire.  Speeds are slowed down for ABS but work with other materials as well without changing. 

5/29/25 New Panda Touch interface uploaded to work with the Panda Sense.  Listed as untested under the model description. This model is currently untested, use at your own risk.  I will update when this model has been tested and fitment has been verified.   All other models are currently the same and are available to print. 

Edit: 4/3/25 (Ratings and suggestions previous to this date were what inspired me to improve the design of my original remix which stems from the original model flaws.  If leaving a poor rating going forward please explain what is wrong with the print and photograph the issue so I can continue to improve the design for future users)

• Back edge has been radiused for better door clearance.   
• Notch added to release screen which original design did not have. 
• Tool created to release screen (designed so it can't over extend and damage screen housing)
• Also put up photo of the correct installation for the riser this was designed for since some negative feed back was because this model was not created for their application.

New Version with radiused edges for better door clearance.  Also cleaned up the entire file by recreating it in Fusion 360 and uploaded as a step file so curved surfaces are round instead of choppy. 

This is to hopefully prevent the door from hitting on the lower edge of the the interface noted by some of the users. 

New design gives about 2-3mm more door clearance over original design. 

Notch installed in new design to release the LCD screen for easier removal.  Old Design had no notch and screen needed to be forced to remove.  Wiki screen removal  Once this print is installed you can use the removal tool I created to release the screen.  It is designed so that it can't over extend and damage the LCD screen housing. Only pushes up a maximum of 1.5mm to release the screen from the notch.

Additional note:  If you don't have the AMS riser like the one pictured below, the print will probably not work for your application.  The notch sits on the riser and not on the machine.  This could cause a sagging issue and also cause the door to rub.  If you need one that rests on top of the machine I have listed links at the top of the page to where you can print the correct one like this one which is where this remix originally came from.   If you would like to have one that will work like the original design with my revisions let me know in the comments below or message me and I will create new profiles for them that you can print.
