Split the STL into parts to color each part separately.

I recommend adding holes directly in your slicer. In my printing profile, I included negative parts for 4x4 mm holes. You can adjust the size of these negative parts to fit your string.

Adding Holes in the Slicer:

1. Open your slicer software and load your object.
2. Right-click on the object and select "Add Negative Part" > "Cylinder".
3. Resize the cylinder to match the desired hole dimensions.
4. Position the negative parts (holes) where you need them on the object.
5. Slice the file and print as usual.
