Do you use Gridfinity bins for desktop organization or in other visible areas? Do you want them to look a bit more stylish? Then look no further than these leather-clad gridfinity bins.

The effect is achieved with bins with a slight recess on the outer wall, which fits self-adhesive leather repair patches (actually made from PU plastic). I used this product from aliexpress, which costs 5€ for a 5 meter strip. You can find the exact same product on German Amazon here. On US Amazon, this product seems comparable. However there are a wide range of options, most of which should work. The important thing is to choose a thin material, mine is 0.5mm thick.

Cut out a strip of the appropriate size. Because I suck at transferring measurements I made templates that I can simply trace with a crafting knife.

Then peel off the backing paper, and starting in the middle align it with the printed bin and stick it on. Wrap around the edges, and try to make the ends line up as best as possible. Press on firmly.

And that's how you get a cool new bin with a unique look.
