3D model Electrical Box for Solid State Module by k3ldar on MakerWorld

Description

This is a small electrical box designed for the SSR 75 solid state relay. It has ventilation holes and the module is raised slightly to allow air to pass both underneath and over it for additional cooling.

The lid is sealed with four M5 x 10mm bolts.

Material used is PETG

Assembly instructions are relatively simple, print the item, pass the electrical cable through the large hole (1 each end), connect up the module and then secure the module on the small platform with two small caps.

Because of the nature of printing, there are 3 sizes of cap available, they are:

3.2mm

3.15mm

3.0mm

In my tests, despite all elements being equal size in the base unit, there was after printing a small variance in size required. One of the above sizes should fit, however, if not let me know and I can make additional ones.

Screw in the bolts, these are designed to be self tapping, but should provide a secure snug fit.

Supports

Due to air holes if you have auto support then this will be difficult to remove, the provided profile has manual support in the two required areas (cable holes) there should be no ill effect from not supporting all air holes.

This model is part of my 12v System collection.

Enjoy ;-)
