Hey Everyone! Today I bring you my first wrist rest, the cloud!

I actually started work on another wrist rest before this one but it is a fairly more complicated project so it is taking more time but since this one was finished I decided to go and push it ahead of schedule for you guys!

The print files include the two sides of the wrist rest along with the connectors you will need to attach the sides and feet you can use to offset the height of the rest. The side of the connectors are slightly smaller than the rest, this is so that if you decide to glue the two halves like I did, these are the places you should use more clue in and there will be room for it, I used hot glue for example.

The measurements of this wrist rest are 340 wide by 75 deep by 19 high. Knowing this you can easily scale the model in order to achieve your desired dimensions.

How to scale it to your liking: In the slicer, simple select the object, then select the scaling tool. In the scaling options, choose object coordinates and uncheck uniform scale then divide your desired measurement by the real measurement of the object, for example, you want it to be 320mm wide instead of 340. 320/340=0,9412 so in the x dimension input 94,12% and you will get your desired size. just remember to scale the connector pieces in the same was as you did the model, otherwise they wont fit.

Regarding the included print profile, it has been modified in order to make this print as fast and reliable as possible without taking 24 hours to print 😂 though you are welcome to make your own modifications and be sure to comment if you do!

Very important note: I heavily recommend you use glue stick or any other form of glue to make sure the print sticks to the plate. The new super tak plate Bambu has released should also be a godsend for this print according to early reviews but the point is, do everything you can to make the print stick to the plate. Increasing the bed temp from your normal temperature should also help, I increased mine by 10 degrees but feel like going up 15 would’ve been a better option, I have also included a brim for this reason.

The other wrist rest which I talked about in the beginning is nearly complete and should be released in about two weeks. It’s been a very long passion project and I’m taking my time to do it right but please, be on the lookout for it, you will not regret it ;)
