It is highly adjustable to fit various sizes/heights due to its ability to click into place interlocking design. Each piece of the tie can be clipped out and replaced individually. The Tie can be used with or without an elastic. I like a looser fit, so I use an elastic with two knots tied on the ends which can be jammed into the slots in the back of the tie knot. If you are handy with a needle and thread I also included two little bars in the print which you can sew into the elastic band for a more elegant finish. You can also just use the center slot to slip right over the top of the button on your shirt if elastic is not your thing.
