Summary

THE EASIEST THREADED INSERT PRESS YOU CAN BUILD YOURSELF!!

I remixed thing:2763330 into a solder press for threaded inserts because I liked the original (drill press version) so much for its ease of printability and assembly I felt it would be the perfect press to convert into a threaded insert press.

This press has few parts, is easy to assemble, and works great as a press with its simple yet affective design; I knew it would make the perfect threaded insert press!

-Two 5/16" Threaded rods (I cut mine approx.. 6-1/2" long for reference)

-Two springs from a harbor freight spring assortment kit (Springs used are 11/32" x 1-7/16")

You will replace the rods in the original kit with the 5/16" threaded rods I listed and you'll replace the original drill head/motor mount with my new "Solder Press Mount"
