I always loved the idea gear being modular and allowing you to customize your kit as needed for whatever scenario you find yourself headed into. This one of the biggest reasons I got into Milwaukee PackOut, not just for it's modular nature but also for the ability to customize different options via 3D Printing
Enter: PackOut x GridFinity
Designed for use with the Milwaukee PACKOUT™ Compact Organizer 48-22-8435
V1 is a 4x6 grid minimalist design to allow for quick printing with low filament consumption. The frame adds rigidity to the grid and alignment in the 8435 PackOut organizer.
Optional: is the use of 96 D6x2mm magnets to secure your bins but are not required. The magnets should press in but due to variances in printers you may need a drop of glue to secure them. Depending on the configuration of your bins, the PackOut lid may be enough to secure your bins without the use of magnets.
Note: The bins in the image are only to demonstrate that the grid at the seam is still completely functional and fitment is not an issue even though the model is split. Use of similar bins does not guarantee that you will be able to close or latch the lid of the PackOut Organizer.
NOT for use with this organizer but if you're a fan of GridFinity you may like my Milwaukee M12 XC Battery 2 x 3 Gridfinity Bin
